The Palais De Festival has rolled out the red carpet for the stars of advertising and over the next few days will be welcoming the best of creative work from global ad-land. IMPACT has pitched its tent right there with Neeta Nair, Editor, IMPACT and Simran Sabherwal, Editor, PITCH Magazine holding the fort, promising to bring all the latest news, insights, and celebratory cheers as the deserving agencies pick up the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity metals.
The competition is stiff this year, especially for India that is aiming to rise above the modest performance of 25 wins last year. Banking on 826 entries and 41 shortlists thus far, the Indian contingent is ready to test its luck at the Oscars of the ad world.
Day one of the festival and the excitement is already mounting with metals for Pharma, Health & Wellness, Audio & Radio, Print & Publishing, Outdoor Lions, and Health Grand Prix for Good to be announced. India has a total of 13 shortlists across four categories today. Only time will tell if we are able to clinch the shining metals.
