The channel’s #EverydayLeaps campaign will encourage movie fans to share stories on the occasion of &flix’s one year anniversary, says Shaurya Mehta, Business Head, Zee English Cluster
&flix has launched the campaign #EverydayLeaps, encouraging movie fans to share their stories as a part of its one-year anniversary celebration. With this, the channel is set to host exciting initiatives and a promising content line-up. Shaurya Mehta, Business Head, Zee English Cluster says, “As of December 2018, &flix’s viewership has seen a growth of over 50% compared to Zee Studio’s viewership between December 2017 and 2018, and &flix HD has increased its viewership numbers by over 200% between the same period.”
Mehta attributes the channel’s success to over 130 brands as advertisers. The channel’s upcoming content slate has impressive premiere titles including Men In Black: International, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Charlie’s Angels, New Jumanji Sequel, amongst many others.
Keeping the campaign thought in mind, the channel has launched ‘7 Days 7 Leaps’ – a property that presented viewers with choice movies. It has also launched ‘Best Flix Forever’ - a month-long property bringing top-rated movies to viewers.
The channel has engaged consumers through various activities like Flix First Screening, an on-ground IP that provides cinematic experience of a movie before its theatrical release, in association with PVR Cinemas. Movies like SpiderMan: Into the Spider-Verse, Venom, John Wick Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Hotel Transylvania 3 amongst others have been featured as part of the Flix First Screening where the channel has engaged with the viewers through varied activities.
