GREY India has garnered two prestigious shortlist nominations at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, recognizing its standout campaigns for Volvo Cars India and Axis Bank.
The campaign titled ‘Most Ignored Painting’ for Volvo Cars India has been shortlisted under the Engagement category, specifically in the Direct - Use of Events & Stunts subcategory. The campaign has been recognised for its creative execution that aligns with Volvo’s brand values and audience experience strategy.
In a separate entry, GREY India’s campaign ‘Devanagari PIN’ for Axis Bank has earned a shortlist in the Direct Engagement - Social Behaviour sub-category. The campaign, which carries the same name as the brand it was created for, focuses on themes tied to societal interaction and accessibility.
Both shortlists showcase GREY India’s ability to create impactful and relevant campaigns across vastly different sectors, automotive and finance, while effectively using engagement tools to deliver purpose-driven messaging.
Cannes Lions has announced the shortlists in the Craft, Entertainment and select Engagement categories. The Craft category includes shortlists for Design, Digital Craft, Film Craft, and Industry Craft. The Entertainment category has revealed its shortlists across all sub-categories, including Entertainment, Entertainment Lions for Gaming, Entertainment Lions for Music, and Entertainment Lions for Sport.
For Engagement, shortlists have been released for four subcategories so far: Direct, Media, PR, and Social & Creator.
The Cannes Lions Awards Shows will be held from Monday, June 16 to Friday, June 20, 2025, with more shortlists expected in the coming days.
