Amidist massive developments in the Media and Advertising Sector, Amardeep Singh has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Omnicom Media India, the media wing of the merged Omnicom-IPG entity.
Amardeep, took on the role of CEO, IPG Mediabrands in May 2025. Prior to that he was the Co-founder and erstwhile CEO of Interactive Avenues. As CEO, IPG Mediabrands, Singh also led the network agencies such as Lodestar UM, Initiative, Rapport, and Reprise in India. Singh co-founded Interactive Avenues in 2006 along with Shantanu Sirohi and three other partners, after gaining foundational experience at Mediaturf and earlier stints with Rediff, India Today, and Bennett Coleman & Co.
Known for his calm demeanor and razor-sharp focus, Amardeep Singh is widely regarded in the industry as a no-nonsense, soft-spoken leader with a deep understanding of both legacy media and the digital frontier.
The move comes amid Omnicom’s post-merger restructuring and reorganisation strategy following the acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG). The new leadership is expected to steer the combined entity’s India business, oversee agency integrations, and chart growth strategy for the expanded network in the world’s fastest-growing major ad market.
