Adobe has appointed Shamik Basu as Vice President for its Creative Products Group in India, expanding its leadership team in the market.
Based in Noida, Basu will lead the company’s engineering and product management teams in India and will be part of the India leadership team. He will report to Ely Greenfield, Chief Technology Officer, Creative Products Group.
In his role, Basu will work with global teams across key products including Adobe Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and Premiere, spanning areas such as design, imaging and video.

Basu joins Adobe from Microsoft, where he worked on improving performance, reliability and AI-led user experiences.
