Adobe Express unveils Indian Language updates with Gen-AI Features

Adobe has announced significant updates to Adobe Express, its all-in-one content creation app, now offering an enhanced experience with Indian language support. The app’s interface is now available in Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali, while the Translate feature supports an additional five languages: Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Telugu. This expansion aims to empower millions of users across India to create standout designs in their native languages.

With the integration of Adobe Firefly powered Generative AI, users can now utilise advanced features like Generative Fill and Generate Image for creating localised videos, flyers, resumes, banners, logos, and more. This AI-driven technology simplifies the design process, making it accessible and efficient for a diverse audience.

Govind Balakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Adobe Express and Digital Media Services, stated, “Adobe is committed to innovation, and these updates are a testament to our dedication to making powerful design tools accessible in India’s diverse linguistic landscape. Adobe Express is experiencing rapid growth, and we are excited to meet the expanding content creation needs of this market.”

Artist and creator Neha Sharma, known as Neha Doodles, highlighted, “In a linguistically diverse market like India, the ability to create and express in multiple languages is crucial. My Independence Day project with Adobe Express showcased how easily I could use Generative AI to design content in various Indian languages, extending my reach significantly.”

Key Features in Adobe Express for Indian Users:

  • Auto-Translation: Effortlessly translate text across single and multi-page files, eliminating the need for manual translation and external tools. The Translate feature, available for free for a limited time, allows users to adapt English templates into their preferred languages, enhancing accessibility and customisation.
  • Localized UI: Enjoy a more intuitive experience with the user interface now available in Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali.
  • Text-Element Translation: Selectively translate text elements while preserving accuracy for place names, brand names, and other specific details.
  • Multi-Page Translation: Streamline workflows with the ability to translate content across multiple pages with a single click.
