AlterType crafts ‘Joy Is On The House’ campaign for Chalet Hotels’ Athiva brand

AlterType, the independent creative agency on record (AOR) for Chalet Hotels’ new-age premium lifestyle brand Athiva Hotels & Resorts, has launched a new brand campaign titled ‘Joy Is On The House’. The campaign introduces Athiva’s hospitality philosophy, centred on joy, comfort, connection, and sustainability.

The launch film, also titled 'Joy Is On The House', positions Athiva as a lifestyle-driven hospitality brand that aims to go beyond conventional hotel experiences. Through cinematic storytelling and emotional visuals, the film explores the idea that guests do not merely check into a property — they “come home”.

With joy as its core promise and sustainability as a defining pillar, Athiva is set to drive long-term profitability by harnessing Chalet’s deep hospitality expertise, a passionate and talented team, and an unwavering commitment to quality in every detail.”

According to the brand, the campaign reflects Athiva’s commitment to creating experiences grounded in emotional connection, where joy and wellness intersect with sustainability. AlterType has been closely involved in shaping the brand’s positioning and creative strategy since its inception.

Siddharth Loyal, Co-founder & Managing Director, AlterType, said, “At AlterType, we believe brands should feel lived in, not just well-designed. With Athiva, our goal was to build something that didn’t just advertise joy, but quietly delivered it at every touchpoint, ensuring a seamless and joyful customer experience, right from the booking process to checking-out.”

As informed by the company, the campaign will roll out across digital platforms, experiential activations, and on-ground events. The first property under the Athiva banner — Athiva Resort & Spa, Khandala, opened on October 16, 2025, with additional locations in Navi Mumbai and Aksa Beach expected to open soon. The brand has also announced three upcoming resorts in Goa and Kerala.

Through this campaign, Chalet Hotels and AlterType aim to introduce Athiva as a hospitality brand where joy, sustainability, and wellness define every experience.
