Altimetrik, a company focused on AI, data and digital engineering solutions, has appointed Gurvinder Sahni as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Raj Sundaresan.
Sahni brings over 20 years of experience in marketing. Prior to joining Altimetrik, he was CMO at Persistent Systems, where he worked on positioning the company as an AI-led services provider. He also held senior roles at Wipro, including in the Growth Office and the Office of the Chairman. At Wipro, he set up the Analyst Relations function and managed engagements with organisations including the World Economic Forum, NASSCOM, and several analyst and advisory firms such as Gartner, Everest Group, Forrester, Constellation Research, HFS Research, IDC, ISG, Avasant and Zinnov.
“Gurvinder joins us at a defining moment as we scale Altimetrik’s market presence and double down on our AI-first strategy,” said Sundaresan. “His ability to translate complex narratives into compelling positioning, coupled with a strong execution mindset and deep industry relationships, will be instrumental in amplifying our differentiated approach.”
At Altimetrik, Sahni will oversee global marketing and communications, refine the company’s brand identity, and support go-to-market activities across its core industry areas. His remit includes simplifying AI-related messaging and highlighting Altimetrik’s offerings in platform modernisation, cloud, data and AI.
His appointment comes at a time when businesses are seeking partners to help implement comprehensive AI strategies. According to the World Economic Forum, 74% of companies face challenges in adopting AI at scale. Altimetrik is currently expanding its strategic partnerships, including with OpenAI.

Sahni holds an MBA from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and a bachelor’s degree in commerce, with a focus on accounting and economics, from Delhi University.
