Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free streaming service, has revealed an exciting slate of over 20 new international titles at WAVES 2025 (World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit). The latest additions to its popular V-Desi catalogue include a mix of Korean, Mandarin, and Turkish dramas, alongside the introduction of an Anime category for the first time on the platform.
The new slate expands Amazon MX Player’s position as the largest AVOD (Ad-supported Video on Demand) destination for dubbed international content. With over 200 shows across genres, the service offers dubbed series in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, including popular K-dramas, Mandarin series, Turkish dramas, and now Japanese anime, with new titles added every week.
The latest releases span a range of genres, including the high-stakes corporate romance Fake It Till You Make It, the feel-good storytelling of Wenderella’s Diary, the emotional drama Chrysalis, and the fantasy-filled Fish Knows You. K-drama fans will be excited about titles like Gaus Electronics and Pride and Prejudice, which offer romance, comedy, and intrigue.
In a major new move, Amazon MX Player is introducing anime to its service, featuring renowned titles such as Spy × Family, Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and more. All these titles will be dubbed in Hindi and are available for free, making them accessible to Indian audiences for the first time.
Amogh Dusad, Director and Head of Content at Amazon MX Player, commented on the announcement, saying, “We’re incredibly excited to bring over 20 new international titles as we expand our dubbed content catalog, including the debut of our Anime category. This marks another significant step in enhancing the viewing experience for our audience. We’re committed to offering premium, localized content for free, making global entertainment accessible to a wider audience in India, with a diverse range of shows they can enjoy every week.”
The new global titles will stream exclusively for free on Amazon MX Player through its mobile apps, Amazon’s shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, Airtel Xtreme, and Connected TVs.
