Anuj Saraf has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing at BajajCapital Insurance Broking Ltd, the company announced on Tuesday.
In his new role, Saraf will lead brand strategy, digital marketing and transformation initiatives, with a mandate to strengthen the firm’s positioning as a trusted insurance partner for both individual and corporate clients across India.
Saraf brings over a decade of experience spanning the insurance and consumer sectors. He joins from ITW Universe, where he led brand and strategy consulting mandates for a diverse portfolio of clients. Before that, he served as Deputy General Manager, Marketing at ACKO, overseeing brand, category and growth initiatives across motor and health insurance.
Earlier in his career, Saraf held roles at Xiaomi India and Emami Ltd, building expertise in brand development, media strategy and consumer engagement.
Venkatesh Naidu, CEO at BajajCapital Insurance Broking Ltd, added: “The insurance industry today doesn’t have an access problem; it has a trust and comprehension gap. As brokers, we operate right at that intersection, helping customers make sense of choices that often feel complex. For us, marketing goes beyond campaigns; it's about bridging product complexity with customer clarity. Anuj brings a strong blend of consumer insight and execution experience across new-age insurance and consumer ecosystems.”
Commenting on his appointment, Anuj Saraf said: "At this juncture of my career, I am looking forward to building an AI-First Marketing Culture & Approach, and am very excited to join Bajaj Capital Insurance, a brand that has earned its place as a cornerstone of financial trust in India. My focus is to apply my cross-sector experience to create a marketing engine that is data-driven, precise, and purposeful."
The appointment comes as BajajCapital Insurance looks to strengthen its marketing capabilities in response to evolving customer expectations, with an increased focus on digital engagement, awareness-building and long-term relationship management.
