With emotionally resonant narratives, the campaign reframes creative education as a compelling brand story that connects with Gen Z career seekers

Arena Animation’s New Films Spotlight Student Transformation

In a bid to showcase the transformational journey of students pursuing careers in the creative industry, Arena Animation has partnered with MX Advertising to launch a series of brand films that blend inspiration with industry realism.

Launched across three films that are a part of Arena Animation’s latest integrated brand campaign, the content aimed at repositioning skills-based education as the gateway to real, tangible opportunities in the booming AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality) sector. Each film captures a different facet of the student's journey—from self-doubt to self-discovery, from classroom learning to on-ground wins—and delivers a message that is as emotional as it is empowering.

Directed by Vaibhav Kerelkar and shot by celebrated DOP Tapan Vyas, the campaign has already struck a chord with both aspirants and professionals across India. The first film, centered on gaming, talks about how just being passionate isn’t enough. It highlights why the right guidance and mentorship from the right leaders is important for career success.

The second film dives into the animation space, showcasing the creative liberation students experience when they find their voice through visual storytelling. But it is the third film that delivers the most powerful punch which is based on VFX. It portrays a student interning on a film set, who is offered a career-making opportunity by a legendary VFX director. The narrative uses FOMO (fear of missing out) to drive home Arena Animation’s promise: ‘Legendary opportunities come when you learn from the legends’.

Speaking on the brand campaign, Sandip Weling, Chief Business Officer, Global Retail Business, Aptech and Brand Custodian, Arena Animation said, “We wanted to move beyond traditional education marketing and instead tell real stories that mirror the dreams and struggles of our learners. Collaborating with MX Advertising allowed us to strike a perfect balance between storytelling and strategic branding. I think the three films have turned out well, helping us drive the idea in a simple, succinct, and relatable way, and we hope that our students are able to derive maximum value when they learn from the legends at Arena Animation.”
