Arth by Emcure, the wellness brand founded by Namita Thapar, has launched 'Fight Against Obesity', a nationwide social-first campaign aimed at raising awareness about obesity and encouraging healthier lifestyle choices.
The initiative will feature 30-second videos led by doctors, health experts and fitness advocates, focusing on topics such as obesity, nutrition, metabolism and sustainable weight management while addressing common misconceptions.

The campaign also includes an education programme for school children across India and will culminate in an annual conference and awards programme focused on obesity awareness.
According to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS), around 30% of women and 27% of men in India are overweight or obese. The campaign seeks to encourage evidence-based conversations around obesity, which the company says remains one of the country's growing public health concerns.
Commenting on the initiative, Namita Thapar, Founder of Arth by Emcure, said: “Obesity is a global challenge, and Arth is committed to this cause. I am personally interviewing top doctors of the country so we can educate and make a difference. The nice part is that the education will be through 30 sec videos,
making it fun and not preachy.”
The initiative is supported by Arth's Bitter Drops, a pre-meal supplement formulated with 14 natural bitter herbs that the company says supports weight management by helping reduce food cravings.
