Atique Kazi has stepped down from his role as President - Data, Performance and Digital at GroupM India and as Head of Commerce for WPP Media India after 12 years. During his time at WPP, Kazi played a key role in shaping the company’s digital and performance marketing capabilities and helped drive innovation in e-commerce and data-led solutions.
Following his exit, WPP Media India has appointed Sairam Ranganathan as the new Head of Commerce. In his new role, Ranganathan will lead the company's commerce strategy across media agencies within WPP India. He will report to Ajay Gupte, CEO – South Asia, Wavemaker, and Amin Lakhani, CEO – Mindshare South Asia.
Ranganathan was previously the Managing Partner for E-commerce at GroupM Nexus. He brings with him over 18 years of experience across sales, business development, and digital marketing, and has worked with several leading brands in the e-commerce and media space.
