Avinash Kaul resigns from Network18; likely to move on from the group

Avinash Kaul, Chief Executive Officer of Network18 (Broadcast) and Managing Director of A+E Networks, has resigned and is likely to move on from the Network18 group, according to sources.

Kaul’s career spans over 26 years and has been marked by innovation and strategic leadership. Within Network18, his portfolio was expanded in August last year, when he was mandated to drive direct revenue growth across television, digital and print. He was also tasked with continuing to strengthen ratings performance and oversee the operating verticals of the television and print businesses.

During his tenure, Kaul reported to Rahul Joshi and had been associated with Network18 Media for nearly 12 years.

Prior to joining Network18, Kaul served as CEO of the television division at BCCL. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Sahara One and NDTV.
Kaul has been recognised as CEO of the Year at the ENBA awards and is widely regarded within the media industry as a respected leader and professional.
