Ayushakti, a leading Ayurvedic health centre, recently carried out a tree plantation drive to demonstrate its commitment to environmental sustainability. In collaboration with GAIA Conservation Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation focused on afforestation projects in Mumbai, Ayushakti planted 500 native trees at the renowned Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Borivali. The event took place on 16th January 2025.
The drive saw the successful planting and watering of 500 trees, with the presence of Co-Founder Dr. Smita Pankaj Naram, Ayurvedacharya Krushna Pankaj Naram, and their dedicated team. This initiative reflects Ayushakti’s ongoing commitment to the culture of healing, not just for people but for the planet as well.
By participating in this reforestation effort, Ayushakti continues to align with its philosophy of promoting harmony between human health and nature. The company aims to help combat climate change through its environmental contributions.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Smita Naram, Co-Founder of Ayushakti, said: “Ayushakti has always been dedicated to nurturing both human health and the planet. Partnering with the GAIA Conservation Foundation for this plantation drive is a step toward creating a sustainable future. We are honoured to contribute to the restoration of this vital ecosystem.”
The tree plantation activity forms part of Ayushakti’s wider corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, which span healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability. The drive concluded with a renewed commitment to further supporting sustainability through future collaborations.
