Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Shivani Darshan passed away on September 30 following a prolonged battle with cancer.
Darshan was associated with startup initiatives and media ventures. She was the registered owner, publisher and editor of a Bengaluru-based English periodical registered with the Press Registrar General of India.
She was also involved in Bengaluru’s pet-parent community and advocated for pet-friendly lifestyles and alternative approaches to pet wellness. Her views and work in the space have featured in regional media reports.
Her cremation will be held at 12 noon on October 1 at Kalahalli Crematorium in Kathalipalya, Sarvagnanagar.
