Blinkit has unveiled a new standalone service, Bistro, offering customers high-quality, canteen-style meals delivered hot in just 10 minutes. Currently available in select areas of Gurugram, Bistro promises fresh, preservative-free food prepared in less than 5 minutes without the use of food processors or microwaves.
Bistro operates through a new app, separate from Blinkit and Zomato, focusing on providing customers with tasty dishes quickly. Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, emphasised in a tweet that Bistro operates independently, with no data from Zomato or its restaurant partners involved. The launch is part of Blinkit’s exploration of product-market fit for this innovative new service.

Bistro is a standalone team, with a standalone app - and no Zomato restaurant data has been used. Bistro will not even use the Zomato app to market Bistro.”
