Black Dog Soda has announced actor Emilia Clarke as its global brand ambassador, aligning the partnership with the brand’s ‘Savour the Pause’ philosophy.
The brand said the association reflects a shared focus on slowing down and being present in everyday moments. Through this positioning, Black Dog Soda aims to encourage consumers to engage more intentionally with brief pauses rather than viewing them as interruptions.
According to the brand, its ‘Savour the Pause’ philosophy centres on the idea that a pause is not about stopping, but about becoming fully engaged before returning to daily life refreshed and focused.
The collaboration is introduced through a new film set in the Scottish Highlands and inspired by the Northern Lights. The film contrasts constant digital capture with intentional presence. In one scene, Clarke observes the Northern Lights with friends inside a glass dome. While others record the moment on their phones, she chooses to pause and experience it fully with Black Dog Soda. The narrative then moves into an immersive art space, illustrating how such pauses can restore energy and focus.
