boAt has launched its Diwali campaign, ‘Upgrade to boAt’, featuring actor Ravi Kishan, creator Shreya Kalra and Sufi Motiwala. Built around the thought ‘Upgrade Your Audio Products Before People Around You Turn Into Critics’, the campaign uses humour and everyday situations to encourage consumers to upgrade their technology this festive season.
The campaign comprises three films set across workplace conversations, festive parties and home gatherings. While Kishan’s film explores conflicting opinions at work, Kalra’s narrative centres on music and party entertainment, while Motiwala’s film highlights the role of sound in social gatherings at home. The campaign addresses what boAt calls a ‘Festive Mismatch’, where consumers prioritise visible upgrades such as clothing and home décor but overlook the audio technology that shapes their everyday experiences.
“The festive season presents a significant opportunity for consumers to reassess the technology they use every day. With ‘Upgrade to boAt’, we wanted to approach this behaviour from a consumer truth that is both simple and entertaining: while everyone has an opinion during the festive season, the right tech products can make the experience better. The campaign allows us to bring this thought alive through three very different personalities, while showcasing the breadth of our portfolio across audio, home entertainment, wearables and power bank. It is also aligned with our larger focus on making meaningful technology accessible to consumers across categories,” said boAt spokesperson.
The festive portfolio includes personal audio products such as the Rockerz 650 Pro, Airdopes Prime 800D, Nirvana Zenith Pro and Nirvana Eutopia 2 ANC, alongside home entertainment offerings including the Aavante Prime X, Aavante Prime 5000DA Soundbar and PartyPal 650.
The range also features smartwatches and the Apex Power Bank Series. As part of the campaign, boAt is offering festive discounts of up to 80% across its website, Amazon and Flipkart.
