Bodhitree Multimedia Limited, a prominent Indian content production company, has appointed media industry veteran Sudip Roy as Group Chief Revenue Officer. Simultaneously, the company has launched a new division—Bodhi Tree Ventures—to spearhead its efforts in IP-led digital content monetisation.
Bodhi Tree Ventures will function as a specialised unit dedicated to building, owning, and monetising digital content IPs across platforms such as YouTube and other digital ecosystems. The division aims to go beyond traditional content creation by developing proprietary digital assets and exploring third-party content monetisation.
With more than 25 years of experience in revenue management and leadership positions at Star News, Zee, Neo Sports, Network18, and TCM, Roy is expected to bring strategic depth and business rigour to this newly created vertical.
The initiative will be jointly led by Sudip Roy and Mautik Tolia, Managing Director of Bodhitree Multimedia, and is designed to establish new digital-first revenue streams for the company.
