Jalandhar-based Capital Small Finance Bank announced on Monday that it has appointed Conrad D’Souza as Independent Director of the bank, where he will be responsible for the Bank’s governance and strategic growth.
With over four decades of experience, D’Souza comes from HDFC Limited, where he served as a Member of Executive Management and Chief Investor Relations Officer, and earlier as its Treasurer. During his more than 39 years of service, he worked on several landmark initiatives, including the HDFC Bank project, the HDFC Limited-HDFC Bank merger and capital market transactions.
With expertise in banking strategy, treasury, corporate finance and institutional building, D’Souza currently serves on the boards of Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Chalet Hotels Limited, Bharat Bijlee Limited, Prism Johnson Limited, Asianet Satellite Communications Limited, Camlin Fine Sciences Limited, Avendus Finance Limited and many more.
D’Souza also served as an Independent Director on the Board of Nations Trust Bank PLC, Sri Lanka, and as an Advisor at Bandhan Bank. He has also advised and worked with multilateral agencies including USAID, UNDP and IFC across Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe, contributing to the development of mortgage finance institutions.
