In light of this, we are introducing the CARS24 Compassionate Policy, which offers support when you need it most.”
The policy provides immediate financial, legal, and emotional support to full-time employees facing personal crises, ensuring that no one has to navigate these challenges alone.
Types of Assistance: Assistance is tailored to individual needs and can take the form of grants or advances based on the employee's situation:
- Grants for Severe Cases: Available for medical emergencies, critical illnesses, death, or disability, with no repayment expectation for employees earning less than ?15 lakhs per year.
- Advances and EMI Schemes: For employees earning above ?15 lakhs or those with less urgent needs, advances or flexible EMI options are provided.
Scenarios of Need: Grants for life-altering events include:
- Medical emergencies covering expenses not included by insurance.
- A one-time grant for childbirth for eligible employees.
- Legal aid and relocation support for employees escaping domestic violence.
- Financial assistance for victims of burglary, assault, or fraud.
- Grants for addiction recovery programmes and counselling services.
- One-time grants for severe pet health emergencies.
For less urgent situations, support is available through:
- Advances for non-medical urgencies like disaster repairs or urgent family travel.
- Assistance for missed EMI payments.
- Help with children’s education costs.
Comprehensive Support Beyond Financial Aid: CARS24 offers extensive support beyond financial assistance, including:
- Legal guidance for cases of domestic violence, harassment, or fraud.
- Access to medical consultations for critical healthcare decisions.
- Emotional and psychological support from mental health professionals.
- Relocation assistance for those escaping domestic violence.
- Continued support for addiction recovery through counselling.
