Cashify, a recommerce platform, has announced a partnership with stand-up comedian Gaurav Kapoor to launch a new YouTube comedy game show titled ‘Lie Hard’. The 8-episode series is now streaming on Kapoor’s YouTube channel, with new episodes releasing every two weeks.
The format involves comedians telling multiple personal stories in each round, only one of which is true. Other comedians and the audience attempt to identify the real story. The show includes a “Cashify Round,” where live audience members can win cash rewards by voting correctly.
The show features a rotating lineup of well-known comedians including Anubhav Bassi, Harsh Gujral, Gaurav Gupta, Ravi Gupta, and Gurleen Pannu, among others.
Nakul Kumar, Co-founder and CMO of Cashify, said the collaboration reflects the company’s focus on doing things differently and connecting with audiences through creative storytelling. “Just as we’re redefining how people sell old phones, this show adds a smart and interactive twist to comedy, aligning with our brand values.”
The initiative is part of Cashify’s broader strategy to increase brand visibility and appeal to a younger demographic, particularly those aged 18–40. Gaurav Kapoor, known for his wide audience reach, is seen as a strategic fit to help drive awareness of the brand’s mission to promote sustainable tech ownership.
Speaking on the project, Kapoor said, “Lie Hard is a mix of storytelling and guessing games. It’s fun, unpredictable, and gives comedians the space to be creative. Partnering with Cashify made it possible.”
