CashKaro’s New Ad Film Takes Bold Swipe at Coin Rewards in Cashback Campaign

CashKaro, India’s leading cashback and coupons platform, has launched the latest ad film under its #CoinsVSCashback campaign, using humour and satire to critique coin-based rewards in favour of real cashback.

Inspired by the controversial yet iconic “India’s Got Latent” pop culture moment, the digital film parodies the chaos of talent reality shows to deliver a sharper message: coin gimmicks don’t offer real value. CashKaro positions itself as the smarter, no-nonsense alternative — offering users actual money that can be transferred directly to their bank accounts, not limited-use digital tokens.

The campaign, known for its bold narrative “Coins Voins are all bakwaas, real cashback is with CashKaro,” previously released a Ghibli-style animated short and the quirky ‘The GOAT Talks’ series earlier this month.

Speaking on the brand’s mission, Swati Bhargava, Co-Founder of CashKaro and EarnKaro, said, “CashKaro has always stood for real, tangible savings — not coins that come with fine print, expiry dates, or usage limits. With our digital campaign #CoinsVSCashback, we’re calling out the smoke and mirrors of so-called coin rewards. This Latent-inspired ad film is the latest in a series of bold, creative adaptations reinforcing that real cashback is money that users can bank, spend, and benefit from without limitations. Last year, we rolled out our Aadat Badlo campaign that also focused on shifting consumer behaviour and helping them earn big by changing one small habit while shopping. That’s the value we’ve consistently delivered, and this film captures that message in a bold, humorous, and unmistakably CashKaro way.”

Produced by CashKaro’s in-house Brand & Creatives team, the ad draws from nostalgia and virality to amplify the platform’s promise of genuine cashback — aiming to set a new benchmark for reward clarity in Indian e-commerce.
