The Ministry of Civil Aviation has warned travellers about fraudulent websites posing as the official Air Suvidha 2.0 portal and seeking payments from passengers. The ministry said it has been informed about fake portals that redirect users to payment gateways while claiming to offer Air Suvidha 2.0 services. It clarified that submitting the Air Suvidha 2.0 Self-Declaration Form is completely free and does not involve any payment.
The only authorised Air Suvidha 2.0 portal is https://airsuvidha.civilaviation.gov.in.
Travellers have been advised to check and verify the website address carefully before sharing any personal or travel-related information. The ministry has also urged passengers not to make payments on unauthorised websites claiming to provide Air Suvidha 2.0 services. The advisory further asks travellers to use only the official government portal and refer to official government communications for accurate information about Air Suvidha 2.0. The ministry said the advisory has been issued to raise passenger awareness and ensure public safety.
The warning comes a month after the Centre launched Air Suvidha 2.0, an upgraded digital platform for international arrivals. Introduced in June, the portal allows incoming passengers to submit a mandatory online Health Self-Declaration Form before immigration clearance, as part of health screening measures related to the ongoing Ebola outbreak. The form can be submitted up to 24 hours before arrival in India.
