CoinSwitch has launched a new campaign featuring actors Ronit Roy and Darsheel Safary to introduce Market Protect, a feature offering eligible new users a limited benefit against realised losses on eligible Bitcoin spot trades, subject to applicable terms and limits.
The campaign is built around the experience of people exploring Bitcoin for the first time, for whom understanding the asset and navigating an initial trade can be unfamiliar. Market Protect is designed to provide eligible new users with a limited benefit on realised losses from eligible BTC spot trades while they learn about the asset and the terms of the feature.
The campaign uses a series of relatable and humorous situations featuring Roy and Safary to explain how Market Protect works without relying heavily on technical terminology. The films aim to make the feature easier to understand for audiences exploring Bitcoin and other digital assets.
“For someone exploring Bitcoin for the first time, there is a lot to understand, from how a trade works to how prices can move. Market Protect gives eligible users a limited benefit on eligible BTC spot trades, and the campaign is about explaining that proposition in a simple, relatable way. Ronit and Darsheel helped us bring that idea to life without overcomplicating it,” said Lohith Ramachandra, Head – Brand Marketing, CoinSwitch.
Roy brings a mature screen presence to the campaign, while Safary adds a younger perspective. The contrast between the two actors is used to address audiences across age groups while keeping the focus on explaining the feature.
Market Protect is available exclusively on the CoinSwitch app for BTC spot instant orders. Eligible users can receive a benefit against realised losses on eligible Bitcoin trades, subject to the applicable terms and a lifetime limit of ₹500.
The initiative will run until March 31, 2027, with the campaign films rolling out across CoinSwitch’s digital and social media channels.
The company notes that Market Protect is a limited feature benefit and does not remove the possibility of losses or the volatility associated with crypto assets. Users are encouraged to understand Bitcoin and the applicable terms before trading.
