CRED has unveiled a new brand film featuring Tamil actor T Rajendar, aiming to drive awareness around the rewards of good financial behaviour. The campaign, launched yesterday, pays tribute to Rajendar’s distinctive persona while positioning him as the face of financial literacy for “TR Nation.”
The film, rooted in Rajendar’s trademark style, portrays the multi-faceted artist known for his work as an actor, director, lyricist, composer, and singer, now stepping into the role of an explainer. With his signature delivery and flair, Rajendar simplifies the concept of creditworthiness and showcases how timely bill payments on CRED can lead to tangible benefits for users.
In a fast-paced narrative, a mundane late-night scroll transforms into an engaging walkthrough of the rewards available on the CRED platform. These include jewellery, vacations, gadgets, beauty makeovers, and other exclusive experiences, reinforcing the message that financial responsibility pays off.
The campaign will run for six weeks across Tamil Nadu, both on digital and offline platforms. On the app, users will find curated offers from well-known brands such as Butterheads, VS Mani, Bodycraft, Sangeetha Veg, Cha Republic, GIVA, A2B, and Lakme. Additionally, CRED members in the state will gain access to limited-edition T Rajendar merchandise via the CRED Store.
