Crompton’s New TVC "Geyser On Energy Savings Full On" Targets Smarter Homes

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., a key player in India’s consumer electrical market, has launched a new television commercial (TVC) for its energy-efficient 5-star rated water heaters. The campaign, titled "Crompton Geyser On Energy Savings Full On!", taps into the everyday household worry of energy wastage while ensuring a steady supply of hot water.

The TVC highlights a familiar consumer dilemma: the fear of leaving a geyser running and wasting electricity. In many households, managing energy consumption while ensuring access to hot water can be a constant worry. Crompton’s new campaign brings this relatable concern to the screen, showing a family’s repeated questioning of whether the geyser has been turned off. With a humorous build-up, the family’s anxiety peaks before the maid reassures them—only to realise that the geyser was left running. The tension is dispelled when they reveal their new Crompton 5-star water heater, showcasing a smart solution to their energy-saving worries.

Pragya Bijalwan, Chief Marketing Officer at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., commented: “Energy saving is an everyday struggle for many households, and consumers are becoming more informed about the importance of energy-efficient appliances. With this campaign, we wanted to highlight that families can enjoy hot water without worrying about energy wastage or escalating utility bills. Crompton’s 5-star rated water heaters offer a smart, energy-saving solution for homes that want to reduce utility bills.”

The commercial cleverly portrays how Crompton's water heaters help families avoid unnecessary energy wastage while enjoying the convenience of hot water. The ad concludes with the reassuring tagline: "Koi baat nahin, Crompton hai - India’s No. 1 5-star water heater," positioning the brand as a trusted choice for energy-efficient solutions.

The TVC will be aired across multiple platforms, including during the India vs. South Africa T20 cricket series, ensuring substantial viewership. Crompton plans to amplify the campaign further through various media channels, driving home the message of energy savings and smart household choices.
