Dentsu has expanded Dan Pantumsinchai’s remit, appointing him Managing Director – Gaming & Entertainment, APAC. In the newly broadened role, he will work with teams and clients across the region to bring together gaming and entertainment capabilities in a bid to drive growth and connect culture with commerce.
Pantumsinchai was previously Managing Director of Gaming for Asia Pacific, where he led dentsu’s gaming strategy. His expanded remit reflects the growing convergence between gaming and other entertainment verticals such as anime, manga, music and wider intellectual property ecosystems.
Sharing the update, Pantumsinchai said, "I’m pleased to share an update on my role at dentsu! My remit has expanded to Managing Director of Gaming and Entertainment, APAC. This change reflects how the media landscape is evolving. Gaming continues to be a key pillar, but it is increasingly interconnected with other areas of entertainment including anime, manga, music, and wider IP. In APAC particularly, these worlds overlap significantly, creating new opportunities for brands to engage audiences in more meaningful ways".
The move comes as dentsu looks to deepen its capabilities across gaming and entertainment, aligning with the changing media landscape and new brand engagement opportunities across the APAC region.
