In an exciting new initiative, Deconstruct, an Indian science-based skincare brand, has launched a one-of-a-kind “Skincare Internship” campaign, offering a ?1 lakh stipend to participants. The program aims to make skincare more accessible and less intimidating for beginners, encouraging individuals to integrate skincare into their daily routines.
Open to anyone over 18, the internship is designed to demystify skincare and provide participants with a guided, hands-on experience. It offers tailored skincare routines and products, selected to suit each intern's unique skin type and concerns. The initiative is inclusive, reserving 50 percent of the spots for male participants, challenging the stereotype that skincare is only for women. This move aligns with Deconstruct’s mission to promote skincare as a universal practice for all.
Interns will be mentored by skincare coaches and dermatologists, learning how to build and maintain effective skincare routines. The internship can be completed remotely, allowing participants to take part from anywhere without disrupting their regular jobs or commitments. The program not only offers financial rewards but also provides participants with valuable insights into the skincare industry, with pre-placement opportunities in brand marketing.
Malini Adapureddy, Founder and CEO of Deconstruct, said, “At Deconstruct, we believe skincare is for anyone with skin. This internship invites beginners to develop healthier relationships with their skin, offering high-performance, gentle products to ease them into the journey.”
The selection process for the internship involves three stages: registration, video submissions, and interviews. Six to ten successful candidates will spend 30-60 days exploring skincare, learning from experts, and receiving products to enhance their skincare routines. Along with the INR 1 lakh stipend, interns will also receive product hampers and social media recognition.
