Biocon Biologics Limited (BBL), a subsidiary of Biocon Limited, has announced the appointment of Deepali Naair as Global Head – Brand & Corporate Communications, with immediate effect.
In her new role, Naair will lead the global brand and corporate communications function. Her responsibilities will include brand positioning, digital presence, regulatory and statutory communications, financial and corporate reporting, media relations, and employer branding.
Naair has over 30 years of experience across India, ASEAN, and Australia. Prior to this appointment, she served as Group Chief Marketing Officer at C.K. Birla Group, where she worked on corporate identity, brand launches, and strategic initiatives.
She will be part of the Executive Leadership Team and will report to Shreehas Tambe, CEO & Managing Director, Biocon Biologics Limited. She will be based at Biocon House, Bengaluru.
Seema Ahuja, previously Head of Communications for Emerging Markets and Corporate Brand, will transition to a non-business facing role in the Biocon Chairperson’s office following her retirement from Biocon Biologics. She will work on special projects. The company has acknowledged her contributions.
