Get Set Learn, an Arvind Mafatlal Group company, has partnered with the Museum of Solutions (MuSo) in Mumbai to bring the renowned ‘Dinosaurs Among Us’ exhibit from the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) to India. This exciting collaboration provides young visitors with the opportunity to explore the fascinating link between dinosaurs and modern birds through immersive, hands-on experiences.
The exhibit, which will be open until 31st January 2025, invites visitors to discover the connection between ancient dinosaurs and today’s birds, through engaging displays based on AMNH’s cutting-edge research. The immersive experience features large-scale illustrations of both familiar and newly discovered extinct species, offering a vivid look at how dinosaurs might have appeared in life.
Visitors can step into the role of a paleontologist by excavating fossils, assembling dinosaur skeletons, and creating their own fossil impressions to take home. In the first month since opening, the exhibit has attracted over 1,000 visitors, including both children and adults, underscoring the exhibit’s broad appeal.
Inspiring Young Minds Through Experiential Learning
Speaking about the partnership, Ameet Zaverii, CEO & Co-founder of Get Set Learn, said, “We are incredibly proud to bring the American Museum of Natural History to India through this exhibition. Our mission is to foster curiosity in young learners by providing them with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities. This exhibit will help spark interest in not only evolution but also paleontology, encouraging students to think critically about science and the world around them.”
Tanvi Jindal Shete, Founder of the Museum of Solutions, expressed excitement about the collaboration, adding, “This exhibition aligns perfectly with our mission of broadening young minds and creating engaging learning experiences. By exploring complex concepts like evolution and climate change, we aim to inspire children to think critically, question, and contribute to a more sustainable future.”
