Dream11, one of the world’s largest fantasy sports platforms with over 220 million users, released the ‘Poora Fan Bano’ advertising campaign, in anticipation of the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2024.
The campaign features a humorous series of ads starring Rohit Sharma, captain of the Indian men’s cricket team, alongside Harmanpreet Kaur, captain of the women’s team, and star batters Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues. Digital content creators Aakash Gupta, Ravi Gupta, and RJ Kisna portray the fans in the campaign, with Sharma urging viewers to cheer for the women’s team during the upcoming T20 World Cup.
The campaign film has been conceptualised and produced by Tilt Brand Solutions & Studio Q. This film featuring Aakash Gupta playfully illustrates the difference between ‘Aadha’ (half) fans, who focus solely on men’s cricket, and ‘Poora’ fans, who support both teams.
