Dream11 Launches ‘Poora Fan Bano’ Campaign for Women’s World Cup

Dream11, one of the world’s largest fantasy sports platforms with over 220 million users, has unveiled its latest advertising campaign, ‘Poora Fan Bano’, in anticipation of the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2024. This initiative aims to rally cricket fans to support the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, emphasising that true fans appreciate all forms of the sport, regardless of gender.

The campaign features a humorous series of ads starring Rohit Sharma, captain of the Indian men’s cricket team, alongside Harmanpreet Kaur, captain of the women’s team, and star batters Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues. These ads playfully illustrate the difference between ‘Aadha’ (half) fans, who focus solely on men’s cricket, and ‘Poora’ fans, who support both teams. Digital content creators Aakash Gupta, Ravi Gupta, and RJ Kisna portray the fans in the campaign, with Sharma urging viewers to cheer for the women’s team during the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The campaign features amusing interactions between fans and members of the Women’s Cricket Team, supported by Rohit Sharma, set in various relatable scenarios. Through light-hearted comedy, fans are reminded of the impending Women’s World Cup and the importance of supporting the women’s team.

Dream11 remains a key player in the cricketing landscape, serving as a Co-Presenting Sponsor on Star Sports and an Associate Sponsor on Disney+Hotstar for the live broadcast of the T20 World Cup. With a long-standing partnership with the BCCI, Dream11 has been the Lead Sponsor for Team India since 2023 across both the Women’s and Men’s National Cricket Teams.
