Dream11 has completed its pivot from a fantasy sports platform to a global sports engagement platform, moving away from prize-based fantasy sports to a broader offering for sports fans.
The platform will now focus on sports content, live streaming, scores, stats, commentary, community, experiences and social contests. Dream11 has also discontinued all prizes as part of the transition.
The company plans to build an AI-first, personalised experience, tailoring content around users’ favourite sports, leagues, teams and players. The platform will also take a multi-sport approach as it looks to create a single destination for fans globally.
From watching live matches and catching up on sporting action to exploring statistics, booking sporting experiences and competing with friends through social contests, Dream11 aims to bring multiple aspects of fandom onto one platform.
Vaibhav Kokal, CEO, Dream11, said: "With 300 Million users, Dream11 understands what a true sports fan really wants — not just the sport, but the community. Backed by the best tech talent in the country, we are now building an AI-first sports engagement platform, made in India, for the World."
