Aditya Oza, former co-founder of EMotorad, and Mikhail Bohra, former co-founder of Harbor 365, have launched a new venture, Luxora, which aims to streamline the medical travel process for international patients. The platform is designed to facilitate access to healthcare in destinations including India, Thailand, Turkey, and South Korea for patients from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
Oza and Bohra bring experience from their previous ventures — Oza led EMotorad through a Series B round and international expansion to 18 countries, while Bohra scaled Harbor 365 to a $10 million annual recurring revenue. Their latest venture focuses on combining healthcare with travel arrangements, offering an integrated model for patients seeking medical treatment abroad.
Luxora will operate a "Vacation + Surgery" model, offering users a packaged experience including medical treatment and travel planning. The company has secured partnerships with hospitals and wellness centres in multiple countries. These include Banobagi Plastic Surgery and JK Plastic Surgery Center in South Korea; Medical Park International and Memorial Hospitals Group in Turkey; and Bangpakok 9 International Hospital in Thailand.
In India, Luxora has partnered with Apollo, Medanta, and Max Nanavati Hospital. All institutions are either JCI or NABH accredited.
Aditya Oza said, “Healthcare, like mobility, is borderless. At EMotorad, our China+1 strategy paid off well, and now we’re applying the same execution rigor to bring affordable Asian healthcare to the West.”
Luxora is also developing an AI-powered tool named CureMeAbroad. The platform will assist users in selecting treatments and destinations by offering personalised recommendations based on responses to a set of questions. The aim is to reduce the complexity of researching and choosing medical procedures overseas.
Mikhail Bohra stated, “With Harbor, I learned how to scale globally. With Luxora, we’re solving a more human problem by combining healthcare with hospitality, transparency, and trust.”
According to the company, the platform is being built to address the growing demand within the estimated $130 billion global medical tourism industry.
