Godrej Consumer Products Limited has approved the reappointment of Sudhir Sitapati as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for another five-year term beginning October 18, 2026.
The development was announced through a regulatory filing following approval by the company’s Board of Directors.
Sitapati has been leading GCPL since 2021, overseeing the company’s strategic and transformation-led initiatives. In addition to his role at GCPL, he currently serves as Chair of the FMCG Committee at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and has earlier co-chaired the industry body’s National Committee on Food Processing.
Before joining GCPL, Sitapati spent more than 20 years with Unilever, where he held leadership positions across India, Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa. His last role at the company was Executive Director – Foods and Refreshments at Hindustan Unilever.
GCPL also announced that Nadir Godrej will retire from the company’s Board as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director with effect from 7 August 2026.
