Havmor Ice Cream, a subsidiary of LOTTE Wellfood Co. Ltd, has launched a new campaign titled ‘Enjoy It, Play It’, in collaboration with the Gujarat Titans cricket team. The initiative coincides with the release of a limited-edition Choco Vanilla Cricket Ball Ice Cream, aiming to engage cricket fans through a social media-led promotion.
The campaign features Gujarat Titans players Shubman Gill, Sai Sudarshan, and Washington Sundar. It centres around a cricket-themed activation, highlighting a product that combines ice cream with packaging modelled on a cricket ball. Once consumed, the packaging can be reused as a toy ball, mimicking the appearance and feel of an actual cricket ball.
A promotional video showcases a moment where the players are approached by a young fan for an autograph on what appears to be a cricket ball. The child instead opens the item to take a spoonful of ice cream, prompting the players to join in a Tap & Balance Challenge using the product. The video concludes with the tagline: "Enjoy it, play it – with Havmor Ice Cream Ball."
The campaign extends beyond the video, launching a nationwide social media challenge. Cricket fans are encouraged to participate in the Tap & Balance Challenge, whether at stadiums, in their homes, or at local cricket grounds.
