The International Hockey Federation (FIH) is excited to unveil a transformative five-year partnership with Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters. This landmark agreement solidifies Hero MotoCorp's role as FIH’s Global Leadership Partner and continues their 15-year commitment to advancing global hockey.
This strategic alliance is set to elevate hockey to new levels, drive its international expansion, and inspire future generations of hockey enthusiasts. The partnership underscores both organizations' dedication to fostering the sport and enhancing its global presence.
Commenting on the agreement, Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp, said “As the world gathers for the Olympic Games, I am proud to announce the renewal of our partnership with the International Hockey Federation (FIH) for the next five years. This collaboration highlights one of the most significant international sports alliances. In India, hockey symbolizes national pride and heritage.”
Dr. Munjal further emphasized Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to hockey, saying, “We recognize the profound impact of sports on transforming lives and communities. The partnership, effective immediately, will cover all FIH events for the next five years. This includes prominent tournaments such as the FIH Hockey World Cup, FIH Hockey Pro League, FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup, FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, FIH Hockey5s World Cup, and FIH Hockey Nations Cup.
