Hisense has kicked off its FIFA World Cup 2026™ campaign in India with a mix of consumer offers, fan engagement initiatives and accessibility-focused programmes, as the brand looks to deepen its association with football ahead of the tournament.
As an Official Sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Hisense is partnering with FIFA and KultureCity to support sensory-inclusive spaces across all 16 host stadiums in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Designed for fans with sensory sensitivities, including individuals with autism, anxiety, PTSD and dementia, the dedicated sensory rooms will feature calming environments equipped with Hisense display technology. The initiative will also provide complimentary match tickets to families with sensory needs, enabling more fans to experience the tournament in person.
In India, the company has introduced a series of FIFA-themed offers across its television portfolio. Limited-period benefits include cashback of up to ₹10,000 on select Hisense televisions and up to ₹20,000 on Toshiba models, zero down payment options, and complimentary televisions on select large-screen purchases, including the 116-inch and 100-inch Hisense RGB MiniLED models and Toshiba's 100-inch and 85-inch Z670SP televisions.
Hisense has also rolled out a multi-platform marketing campaign spanning digital, outdoor, retail and on-ground activations.
As part of this effort, the company has launched the ‘3 AM Club’ social media contest across Meta platforms, giving consumers an opportunity to win FIFA merchandise while building a football-focused community around the brand.
At the ground level, Hisense has partnered with Radio Mirchi and Radio Mango for fan engagement activities in football-centric markets such as Kolkata, Guwahati and Kerala. The activations are aimed at connecting with local football audiences through region-specific experiences.
The company has also launched an outdoor campaign across major metros and key markets, including Kerala, featuring bus shelter branding and large-format hoardings. In addition, in-store engagement programmes are being planned across premium retail outlets to showcase the brand's latest product portfolio and enhance the FIFA viewing experience.
Commenting on the campaign, Pankaj Rana, CEO, Hisense India, said, "Football has the power to bring people together like nothing else, and that energy is felt just as strongly here in India as it is in any host city. We are proud that Hisense technology is helping make the world's biggest tournament accessible to fans who have too often been left out. At the same time, through our FIFA offers in India, we want more families to experience every goal, every save and every unforgettable moment together at home. It is exactly the kind of innovation we want to be known for in India- meaningful, inclusive and built around people."
Looking ahead, Hisense India is also exploring additional fan engagement initiatives and collaborations with personalities from the Indian football ecosystem, including Ranjit Bajaj, as it seeks to tap into the growing popularity of the sport in the country ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
