Hitachi has appointed Anand Birje as Chief Executive Officer of its Digital Engineering and AI Business Unit, marking a new leadership chapter for the technology business.
Birje joins the role from Encora Inc, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member, leading the digital engineering and operations services company.
Before Encora, he spent nearly two decades at HCL Technologies, most recently serving as President – Digital Business Services until stepping down in May 2023.
Over the course of his career, Birje has also been associated with the World Economic Forum, adding to his experience across technology, digital transformation and global business leadership.
