iD Fresh Food, India’s leading fresh food brand, has announced its entry into the INR 5,000-crore ready-to-heat market with the launch of its Ready-to-Heat Fresh Sambar. This new product expands iD's breakfast portfolio, offering a convenient yet authentic homestyle meal to consumers seeking both convenience and home-cooked flavours.
iD’s Fresh Sambar aims to cater to the growing demand for high-quality, hassle-free meals in modern households. The ready-to-heat market, projected to reach US$1.29 billion by 2025 with a 13.41% CAGR through 2029, has seen increased demand driven by nuclear families and dual-income households.

Made with 11 premium ingredients and whole vegetables, the Fresh Sambar uses advanced thermisation technology for heat treatment and is free from preservatives or additives. The product offers the rich, natural flavours of homemade Sambar and is ready in minutes, making it a nutritious and convenient option for busy households.

The Ready-to-Heat Fresh Sambar will initially be available on e-commerce platforms in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi. The general trade launch is expected to take place in mid-March in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Pune.
