As 2025 draws to a close, India’s advertising ecosystem continues to evolve with a dynamic mix of long-form storytelling, AI-driven creativity, memeverse humour, emotionally charged narratives, and inventive sequels to last year’s standout campaigns. To celebrate this remarkable year, IMPACT has launched a special editorial series honouring the work that shaped the industry most meaningfully.
At No. 68 is the Traya x Baba Sehgal collaboration, a campaign that takes on hair loss with unapologetic honesty and trademark humour. The video seamlessly blends Baba Sehgal’s quirky energy with playful, witty lyrics, spotlighting the emotional journey men face when dealing with hair loss urging them to take charge before it’s too late.
The rap walks viewers through the familiar stages of denial, stress and eventual acceptance, touching on insecurities around confidence, isolation and impossible beauty standards. Delivered in Baba Sehgal’s signature rhythmic punch, the video nudges men to consider Traya’s expert-backed routine of diet, sleep, and personalised guidance framed as the beginning of a ‘comeback story.’ In a refreshing moment of self-awareness, Baba Sehgal jokes about his own hair loss: “I might have lost the hair game, but you don’t have to!”
The campaign was conceptualised and executed by Traya’s in-house creative team under the leadership of co-founder Saloni Anand.
To curate this year’s list, the IMPACT editorial board undertook a rigorous evaluation of the most influential campaigns of 2025. Each entry was assessed for narrative strength, creative ambition, cultural relevance, originality, production craft, execution finesse, and audience impact. After multiple rounds of shortlisting and discussion, the final rankings showcase the brand stories that left a defining imprint on India’s advertising landscape.
Stay tuned as IMPACT continues unveiling the campaigns that shaped—and often challenged—the industry in 2025.
