Isuzu Motors India (IMI), the Indian subsidiary of Isuzu Motors Limited, has announced a change in its senior management, with Takeshi Hirano taking over as Deputy Managing Director.
Hirano succeeds Toru Kishimoto, who will move to a new assignment at the company’s headquarters in Japan. The change forms part of the company’s business plan, according to the announcement.
Hirano has more than two decades of experience in distribution and marketing across international markets associated with Isuzu operations. Prior to this appointment, he was associated with the Isuzu Business Division at Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan.
He is also familiar with the Indian market, having earlier served at Isuzu Motors India as Vice President for Sales and Marketing. During that stint, he was involved in developing the company’s early sales and marketing operations in the country.
