Jaguar Land Rover India, in partnership with Laqshya Media Group, has launched an out-of-home (OOH) campaign to promote the new Defender across multiple Indian cities. Titled the ‘Defender – Portal Campaign’, the activity was deployed across premium outdoor locations.
The campaign was delivered in two phases. The first featured visuals of the Defender in a snow-covered landscape. The second introduced a contrasting desert backdrop, showing the vehicle in a sand terrain.
Sites for the campaign were selected based on traffic and visibility, focusing on locations such as malls, highways, and airport roads. The placements were aimed at reaching audiences interested in luxury vehicles.
Visuals in the campaign included the Defender emerging from a concrete portal into snow-covered mountains, and another of it driving through desert dunes. One creative combined a close-up of a face behind driving goggles with the vehicle’s headlamp.
“With the new Defender, we didn’t just want to create another OOH campaign—we wanted to engineer a spectacle that mirrors the vehicle’s unstoppable spirit. From snow-clad peaks to sun-baked sands, we designed every touchpoint to make people feel the thrill of adventure and the power of possibility. This campaign isn’t just about seeing the Defender; it’s about experiencing what it means to be truly unmissable,” said Yuvrraj Agarwaal, Chief Strategy Officer, Laqshya Media Group.
According to Laqshya Media, the campaign was developed with a focus on creative presentation, location relevance, and visual continuity.
