The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts took polo enthusiasts on a journey through time with the third season of The Leela Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Polo Cup 2025, held in collaboration with the Rajasthan Polo Club. The prestigious tournament, which celebrates the royal sport of polo, took place from 4th to 9th February 2025 at the Rajasthan Polo Club in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
In the highly anticipated final, Team Jaipur Leela faced off against All Stars Polo Team, By Suhana. The match was an exhilarating contest, with Jaipur Leela emerging victorious with a score of 9-8. Dr. Shivangi Jai Singh was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. The trophy was presented by Mr. Anuraag Bhatnagar, CEO of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, alongside actor Ishaan Khattar, followed by a curated high tea.
Shamsheer Ali from the winning team scored an impressive 5 goals, with Lance Watson adding 3, and HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh contributing 1, securing the win for Jaipur Leela. Mahendra Singh also played a key role in the victory. For the All Stars Polo Team, By Suhana, Matias Vial scored 5 goals, Dhruvpal Godara added 3, and Angad Kalan and Dr. Shivangi Jai Singh played notable parts.
