Jio BlackRock Investment Advisers Private Limited, the 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services Limited and BlackRock Inc., has appointed Madhurita Sengupta as Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, she will lead the company’s brand strategy, customer engagement initiatives and digital marketing efforts across the JioBlackRock platform.
Sengupta brings close to two decades of experience across marketing, digital sales and customer experience, with a background in technology-driven growth and financial services. She has previously held senior leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, DBS Bank, Vodafone India and HSBC, where she worked across brand building, customer journey design and data-led marketing programmes.
Across her career, Sengupta has been involved in initiatives focused on building long-term customer engagement through personalised and contextual communication strategies, particularly in digitally evolving markets.
At JioBlackRock Investment Advisers, she will be responsible for developing the firm’s brand positioning and customer outreach as the company expands its presence in India’s wealth and investment advisory segment. Her mandate also includes strengthening digital-first engagement and investor communication across platforms.
Sengupta holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. Outside of work, she has an interest in travel, technology and Hindustani classical music.
