JioStar, the newly formed joint venture resulting from the merger of Viacom18 and Star India, has announced the launch of JioHotstar, a new platform that combines JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar. The platform brings together a wide array of content, cutting-edge features, and a large user base, marking a significant milestone in the global streaming industry. The platform has close to 3 lakh hours of entertainment, live sports coverage, and more than 50 crore, stated a press release.

For those seeking an uninterrupted and enhanced experience, JioHotstar provides a variety of subscription plans, starting at Rs. 149 per quarter, designed to cater to different audience needs. Existing JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar subscribers can easily transition and set up their JioHotstar subscriptions.
Additionally, the platform has introduced ‘Sparks’, a flagship initiative spotlighting India’s biggest digital creators through innovative and engaging formats.
