JioHotstar concluded the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 with a spectacular performance, setting new industry records for live sports streaming in India. The tournament amassed a total of over 540 crore views, with a cumulative watch time of nearly 11,000 crore minutes. The India vs New Zealand final achieved an astonishing 124.2 crore views, with a peak concurrency of 6.12 crores.
In addition to these milestones, JioHotstar saw its highest-ever new direct single-day subscription during the India vs Australia match, highlighting the growing preference for digital streaming. Hindi-speaking regions contributed over 38% of the platform’s total viewership, with Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Goa, Punjab, and Haryana leading the way. The platform also saw over 80% penetration in Wi-Fi-enabled CTV, with Maharashtra recording the highest viewership.

JioHotstar’s coverage of the tournament was enhanced by streaming across 16 feeds, including nine languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Haryanvi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The live streaming also featured four multi-cam feeds, along with the Indian Sign Language feed and Audio Descriptive Commentary, ensuring an inclusive experience for all viewers. The MaxView vertical feed, available in both Hindi and English, offered fans a more intuitive mobile viewing experience.
