KFC has released a new campaign featuring actor Johny Lever, highlighting the launch of the Great KFC Feastival menu, which offers a selection of chicken meals priced at a flat Rs 299 each.
The video opens with Lever in a sombre setting, accompanied by melancholic music, delivering a dramatic monologue about how he was once known for his range—until the extensive Feastival menu surpassed him. The campaign showcases items such as the crunchy, cheesy Chizza; the all-chicken, no-bun Double Down Burger; the Gold Zinger Burger with a cheese flavour profile; and a nine-piece crispy chicken offering.
Throughout the film, Lever shifts between multiple characters, ranging from a tapori to a tragic hero, an over-dramatic poet, and a calm narrator, demonstrating his signature versatility. However, each menu item is portrayed as outperforming even his wide acting range.
His voice, “Bas 299 each mein…” changes as he reluctantly accepts that the Great KFC Feastival menu might just have outranged him.
